accommodation

Our cosy farmhouse offers plenty of space to our students. The rooms are very spacious and you will be sharing them together with other students; We have 3, 4 and double bedrooms. Single bedrooms are also available and can be booked against extra charge. A huge garden in front and behind the house are nice to relax in and the sunny terraces offer you the possibility of outdoor studies . A lounge with TV satellite programms and a videorecorder and cassettes are at your disposal. The kitchen corner enables you to prepare your tea, coffee and small meals. You may also use the dishwasher, the washing machine, the iron and all common facilities completely free of charge.

In our small book and bottle shop you can buy or rent english books and also buy all sort of drinks and snacks. During the wintermonths central heating is provided, in the summertime we offer free access to our school-owned swimming pool

 

 

classrooms

our courses take place in unconventional settings such as lounge/living room - weather permitting in the garden or around the swimming pool, on the terrace or even in the huge kitchen or the friendly house bar ( drinks will stay locked!!)

 

meals

are included on a halfboard basis; You will find all that you need for a continental breakfast (self service) The hot meal consists of hometype country cooking, plentiful and varied; French and European food specialities once or twice a week, free wine 1/4 l, beer or soft drinks included ; The main meal will be taken inside or on the terrace, depending on season and together with your teacher

 

excursions

Depending on the length of your stay the following excursions can be organized against onsite booking, for example

2 weeks stay - one day excursion to Cognac to visit Hennessy or Remy Martin

3 weeks stay - Cognac plus 2-days trip to Bordeaux wine yards and the idyllic St.Emilionwine-growing village

4 weeks stay - Cognac, Bordeaux plus 1-day excursion out to the oysterbanks of Marennes and Oleron island

There are many other interesting sites worthwhile a visit. We'll be glad to propose our services in order to take you there.

Car drivers might want to explore on their own or together with other participants places of interest such as:

is a self supporting, non-profit organisation without any state subvention aiming to teach the french language for a quick and practical use

This private unit defends its own style and philosophy and can in no way be compared to any other classical (mass-collective) language school . Our courses have proven to be very successful in the past and have become very popular with students especially of central europe origin (Switzerland, Germany and Austria)
